Edified Capitalist’s Driving Force

The unjustly growing Income Disparity Gap in the American capitalist system has encouraged young Americans to gravitate toward socialism, which has compelled the Edified Capitalist Institute to become a driving force in eliminating American Capitalism's flaws.

To preserve capitalism, the American democratic society advocated for establishing sociopolitical and economic institutions that would be decisive in driving change and creating a more equitable and just
society. However, mega-corporations leveraged their financial and political power to influence these institutions, resulting in profound shifts in American society that favored the rich and exacerbated
poverty among the working class.

Mega corporations' tight grip on the socioeconomic and economic institutions authorized a small percentage of American businesses to control approximately 90% of the American economy and the
majority of the workforce. Additionally, these corporations created an incomprehensible environment for the educated and skilled American workforce in the knowledge and digital economy, who have heavily invested in higher education, to acquire the required skills to meet employers' hiring requirements.

The table below illustrates the impact of the actions of mega corporations on wealth distribution, comparing the wealth held by the wealthiest 1 percent with that of the bottom 50 percent.

This imbalance can only happen in a capitalist system when sociopolitical and economic institutions fail to uphold laws, regulations, and standards that protect public interests and promote market competition. This creates a two-tier economic system and threatens the very fabric of American capitalism.
