Flaws of Capitalism
The success of capitalism throughout its history shows that free-market capitalism thrived because self-interest and competition played significant roles in economic activities, and the American sociopolitical system aimed to create a stable, just, and prosperous society.
However, over the past forty years, American capitalism' sociopolitical and
economic institutions have turned free-market capitalism into a new form of feudalism where a small percentage of the population owns a significant portion of the wealth, similar to how land and resources were concentrated among the nobility in feudal societies in the 9th to 15th centuries.

Corporate Personhood
Shareholders are the owners of a corporation. They hire a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a management team to oversee the company's day-to-day operations.
The CEO is paid performance-based bonuses, stock options, and other financial incentives, as well as job security and promotion opportunities, to keep employees subordinate in
a non- democratic environment, thereby maximizing corporate profitability.
Who is this economy working for?

“Labor without democracy is exploitation.”

As long as corporate personhood remains in effect, capitalism will continue to face numerous
challenges for some time, and it seems that income and wealth disparity will continue to widen, encouraging young Americans to gravitate toward socialism.
